That's a good plan. Democrats and liberals should step aside and quit getting in way. I like how you think. I'll back your policy any day.

Get real.
No seriously I mean it, they need to get real. They have to plan around the fact that they didn't win the congressional election (yes, technically they were elected, however) it wasn't that the Democrats won, but rather that the Republicans lost. Democrats only got congress because public opinion on corruption was what mattered in the election, and NOBODY in the media acknowledged that untill after the election results and exit polls came out.
If Democrats have any capabilities of functioning as a political party (which is why they've been losing so badly) they need to get on the ball and be active! Really, if they can't find a solution to the Iraq war then they best find something else to focus public attention on or they will be a no trick pack of donkeys.
The little strategy that "people will get tired of Republicans is really resting on your laurels and definitely underestimating the capabilities of your political opponents. I think the 2004 election was a perfect example of such a failed strategy. I mean, Karl Rove was busy destroying Kerry's chances and all the democrats were capable of was this same "the war is failing, Bush is dumb, vote for Kerry" strategy.
If Democrats want to maintain their existance entirely (an existance which was threatened during the last election) they better come up with a new compitent image. The Vietnam war protester/psychopathic freakshow/San Francisco gone wild image is dead, and the democratic party will die too if they don't make a change that appeals to the people.
I guarantee the Republicans will be working on cleaning up their image over the next two years, and I suggest the Democratic party do the same if they want to keep political control.

Democrats have no new ideas...all they can do is fire flares, push the media circus against the war because it is made up of 80% peacenik scum...and react to the way the world pans out. They have no ability to do anything except tax you more. They will raise the estate tax and start stealing entire estates of average men and women...they call it taxing the rich when a perfectly humble home and 401k and savings can equal a million dollars after a lifetime of work... They will guarantee the increase of taxes while stating that they will clean the cess pool. They will do NOTHING...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
I am not a Republican and I can say this...Hillary will win with Barak in 08...but that is only because the country has turned fascist out of self defence and the Democrats are fascists...they seek Nationalized Healthcare...National Socialists is the definition of Fascists. Look it up. Chavez is doing the same in South AMerica...Ahmadinejad in Iran...Putin in Russia...the world is going fascist. All these years the Dems were calling the Republicans fasvists without ever knowing what it meant. It is sad that we have come to this. I am disturbed about the future outlook of this country...we are wide open for an insurgent invasion...in our sanctuary cities across our Southern Flank...and no one seems upset.
People...wake up...waiting for the Republicans to fail is not only a pathetic "solution" - it is anti-American. You have let hate and media brainwashing poison you into a spiteful, vengeful Fascist. I hope you are happy that way...live with it, because one day I might have to help cleanse the land.

The Democrats should stick together and vote against GWB's war. They are only doing what the majority of the American public wants. They want this unjust war to end.It is not our war anymore to fight,it is now an Iraqi conflict amongst themselves.
There are those who say that it is the Americans fault that the Iraqi's are fighting amongst themselves. The truth is that they have been fighting amongst themselves for centuries with or without the Americans. We just happen to be there now,and we are just sitting targets for either side.
We have no place being in a foreign land fighting someone elses war.
We don't even know who the enemy is. They have no uniform, they could be a "civilian" on street carrying a concealed weapon or bomb.
I think we should just sit back and watch the war from behind our borders and get the hell out.
I think this sentiment is shared throughout this country with many Americans.
Perhaps they should send the 21,000 troops to New Orleans to rebuild that city in our own country. Why should we be rebuilding a city on foreign land,it does not make any sense.

I think Democrats should shut up or put up. They have no solution as you just admitted, then they need to stop criticizing the US & our military. There is no jenie bottle to rub to get the US out of Iraq, so it is going to have to be done the President's way - through hard word & sacrifice just like every war that was ever won has been fought. The wars we lost were by letting the public & congress make the decisions & they are 0-2.

I challenge you to give a serious solution to the US involvement in Iraq. Come on, show everyone how smart you are.
If we leave millions will die, if we stay thousands will die. The Iraqis need to take responsibility for their country, that is what the US is trying to train them to do.
The Democrats need to try and take accountability for their actions only there is apparently no training them.
Be part of the solution, not the problem.

They need to concentrate on getting better conditions for Americans: raise the minimum wage, better prescription and health care, stem cell research, control lobbying and payoff scams, etc. Let the Repubs keep fumbling this war. The public can see what's going on.
