Of course. It has happened to us all at one point in time or another. No matter what kind of loss it is....... it leaves you empty.

The truly sucky part is that all you want to do is be able to cope and go on with your life and try to keep some semblance of routine about you. But all you seem to be able to do is think of the person you are supposed to learn to live without.

So you find yourself calling up people you never really wanted to talk to before. You find yourself leaving the house more to escape the memories within. You find yourself falling asleep to the tv because the quiet solitude of the darkness is your worst enemy.

So you read.... and read.... and read..... and read. You find escapes. Ways to occupy your mind so that you aren't forced to think about what you no longer have. You find Yahoo answers and spend ungodly amounts of time here just so you don't have to face what really pains you.

We've all been there. *sigh* Many of us are there now. But learning is just that...... learning. Once we done it, it all becomes easier..... the next time. *sigh*

Stop arguing. You can't change anyone but yourself. Stay away from the topic altogether. It's just not worth it. Your family probably has some good qualities. Try to focus on those. And when you're able to, move out and make your own way. You sound like a strong and courageous person, but some arguments just aren't worth it.

Yes, of course; there's hardly a heart alive that isn't learned this.
There isn't one of without loss; a parent, a lost love.

How many times must I fall, to learn about love?
A beautiful price we pay, to learn about love.
We have had our time decided, to take the test of what is inside us.
How many times must I fall to learn about love?

Yes, I do.
The longing is always there and I have learned to do without.....
not that I like it that way, but that is the way it is.....smile
and some things just are the way they are and cannot be changed.

Yes... It blows and there is little that you can do about it except to believe in the good person that YOU are and know that YOU have much to offer .
