well if the batting strength will improved by selecting the players then they should select no only Ganguly but Robin Uttapa, Mohm. Kaif, etc.
Batting strength will not improved by selecting the players but it will improve by improving the game. If the current batting line starts performing well then i can bet that nobody can stop india from winning the world cup, we do not require Ganguly or any oter just to improve our batting strength.
If we really want to improve our batting strength then tell our players to start practicing from now and improve their game, our batting strength will automatically will improve.

Yes, It will. However, as Cricket is a team game, not one, but at least half of them must play a very good competitive cricket, if India is to win. So, though Ganguly's selection will improve India's batting strength, I don't think India will sprung any surprises this World Cup. I want miracle to happen and India to win............! Come on India, Come on!!!

ganguly now knows that no one can take their place for granted in the team no matter what u have done in the past.he has worked hard to make a comeback and will take these matches as an opportunity to show his worth.seeing this other batsmen will automatically be playing as they know that if Greg can take out people like ganguly and shewag then there are no different thus i feel that under Greg's keen eye and some luck regarding injuries we will not only improve in batting but as a team too

It doesn't matter who is in team or who is out. Most tallented and experienced players are in team, and they are doing nothing. The presence of any player cannot improve India's batting strength. This will improve only by hard work, only by spend their time in practice in the ground not to spend time on RAMP or MODELLING.
