Because they don't have that much coordination to actually do something besides walking.

Because the models are selling the dress, not themselves. They are called clothes horses, because that's really what they are -- simply a vehicle to show the clothing. if they start attracting too much attention to themselves, they soon find their modelling jobs evaporating. Thus, the blank faces.

My thought is that they want to emphasize the "attitude" of the look, the clothing, and the style. Enjoy and be Safe (smiles)

because that would attract too much attention to their faces... (and most of the time runway models faces are really ugly). plus they model clothing, so that needs to be the main focus...

they cant it makes the people focuse on him/her which means they cant focus on the designers outfit
