Do what? There have been on going disputes about the text books, Unit 731, Yasukuni shrine, POW, medical testing and the prostitution issue. It not limited to China, New Zealand, Australian and Korea to mention but a few. The old adage "money talks" is surely proven out here. What gawks me more then anything is their flag, you have a flag that represented the killing of 3,000,000 to over 10,000,000 people; yet Southern cannot fly their heritage in the Confederate Flag.

God Bless You, the Innocents from all the Wars and Our Southern People.

Japanese history textbooks have "glossed over" or sometimes not included the facts of their occupation of China. There is a big dispute over just how many people were killed by the Japanese and why major crimes against humanity are not taught in Japanese high schools.

Sadly, a vast majority of Japanese studends know little about World War 2.

Even scarier, 5 years ago a survey was sent out to various Japanese High Schools and 56% of all male students thought Japan and America fought on the same side durring the war.

Disputes about history books started many years ago.

You might also add Korea when speaking about history disputes between China, Japan, Korea, etc.

I'm guessing when Ghengis Ghan attacked and his fleet was destroyed by a hurricane. If not that then when the commies came in power. Mao lied about everything officially. Besides that there was no interaction.

Since the PRC is under the communist regime, the Chinese tend to think that all the Japanese school text books are under GOJ control. This is not true. The Chinese are brainwashed by their communist propaganda.

All the textbooks in Japan are written and produced by private publishing companies. There are a few dozen textbook publishers in Japan from liberals to conservatives. It is totally up to respective schools which text book they choose. Chinese government and its agents in Japan are always looking for the most conservative one to maliciously use it for their anti-Japan propaganda, which is particularly true after the Tiananmen Square massacre in 1989.

There is no such thing as "textbook dispute" in Japan. That was solely fabricated by the PRC for its communist propaganda to cover up their own genocide during the Cultural Revolution (which killed 20 million Chinese) and the infamous bloody suppression in Tibet (which killed at least one million innocent local people) when Hu Jintao was in charge.

I sincerely hope that nobody would be brainwashed by PRC's anti-Japan propaganda not only for the growing future-looking Japan-China relations but for the peace and security in the Asia-Pacific region as well.
