check with your doctor before beginning any new exercise routine. swimming, yoga, pilates can all be done by pregnant women. but remember just because you Can do it, doesn't mean that you should. even if everyone else does.
i gave up bicycling after a nasty fall that scrapped my belly! and opted for a combination of the above. swimming was my favorite--i used a swim mat. and six months after my son's birth, i took him to his first swim classes...he used a baby swim mat!
also, remember not to exercise too heavily on the week that would normally correspond with your period. I kept having break through bleeding that my doctor said was caused by exercise during that cycle. so for that corresponding week, i started taking slow paced light walks around the neighborhood with light stretching which stopped the problem, plus gave me some variety. (and the chance for my neighbors to see how big my belly was getting;)
be safe and enjoy!

You could try yoga. Squats are good with no extra weight though and so is lifting dumbells they won't hurt you just make sure you don't stress your body to much and when you get tired stop. Also don't do more than 10 lbs. that should be more than enough to keep your arms in shape. Remember that soon you'll have a baby that your going to be carrying around and that's going to be toning up your arms very fast.

I still worked out doing the stairmaster 35 min a day and 30 minutes of light weights--pregnancy is not a reason to let your body go--I fit into my jeans the day I took him home--as I did with my other 3.

Check out "Essential Exercises for the Childbearing Year" by Elizabeth Noble. It's great for exercises which will help make birth easier. It's mostly a book to help make birthing & recovery easier, not one for preventing weight gain. She has several other good books, as well.

There are some great videos out there for women that are pregnant. Many models and actresses have made them.
They have every thing you need in them believe me.
Just make sure you do the ones that strengthen your lower back. Those will help you the most during labor and delivery.

Swimming is very good - it's gentle, but effective and involves the whole body. And the water supports the baby, so it gives you back and abdominal muscles a bit of a rest.

little swim would be god yet no enormous attempt ... no Yoga in any respect different than with an authority of yoga for pregnant because of the fact it might desire to be so risky ... there is a few workouts you could take out of your wellbeing practitioner... what ever ensue no working or leaping.

Yoga is really good for you during pregnancy! They have special poses for pregnant women. I did it when I was pregnant and it even makes it so your back won't hurt. I highly recommend it. Good luck!
