I apparently have fluid there and it flares up every once in a while, but the doctor I went to told me it wasn't serious,

any ideas on how to deal with the annoying pain (it's my right wrist and I'm right-handed)

You may want to wear an ace bandage- wrapped not too tight for support- it sounds like carpal tunnel starting- too much typing or computer work....take advil or aleve when it is flared up and, I know this is hard, but try to do the heavy lifting with your left hand and your right hand assisting-- you will not believe how much of a difference this will make on your sore wrist-- and don't push the vacuum with your right hand- use your left--- good luck to you, I hope you feel better---if it doesnt get better, get a second opinion- see an orthopedic doctor.

perhaps get a second opinion. It is never nice to have a messed up wrist, you depend on it too much.
Sometimes, collection of fluid in sucha place can be termed as gout, which is a type of arthritis in the joint. Different medicines can get rid of this collection of fluid, by either dispersing the fluid or making you actually wee it out. Relief of pain comes as a positive side affect from taking such medicines.
Otherwise, elevate the affected limb, strap it firmly with a bandage and take regular paracetamol of you arent allegic to it that is.

Oh that gotta hurt. If it hurts the most when u twisted( i got mine from swimming ) and it kinda sensitive to the touch then i think my method should work for you.

Soak a tea bag on in almost hot, but not boiling ( like you can touch it without pain) and put on top of the most painful. Alternate with a chilled bag of uncooked rice or beans ( freeze in advance) Change every let say 29 minutes.

If u got to go to school, then use like a mini hot pack ( like the one for cramps but a way smaller one!) and put on the whatever and tye together with the long tape adhesive banage. Hope it helps.

merely approximately every physique I even have met including me has continually had wrist issues after lifting weights for a pair months so its known. the subsequent time you exercising consultation placed on a wrist strap (would properly be offered at carrying products keep) thats made to maintain your wrist stiffer and in place for the time of exercising consultation. purely attempt to ice the section for 20 min. ,if the section is swollen.
