How to drive a mother ship... First is the understanding of the drive system, some say anti gravity, I say magnetics. Magnetics answers so many other questions one being why don't they have windows. A space ship capable of travelling in space will have to by virtual see everything, and I mean ever thing. In space there tiny particles that if you run into them at speed will destroy you and the ship. Number two is that you will need to be able to direct them safely around you and your ship. Number three is the fact that the ship is driven by magnetic fields which need to be varied constantly depending on the environmentally available fields that occur naturally in space. In short, (because there people are annoying me for this computer) You do not actually drive a Mother ship it drives itself. You can guided it if required however in much the same way one plays I TOY. There may not be any controls to see, but they are there no the less.
SUMMARY You must be friends with it's computer. And It's computer must like you.
