there is no airport in whistler, BC. you need to fly to vancouver YVR.

there is shuttle bus service between Yvr and whistler. http://www.perimeterbus.com/ExpressDepartures.html

or you may rent a car and drive to whistler on your own. the drive is much more than 30 minutes that the other answerer stated above. from downtown vancouver, it is more like 90 to 120 minutes. it is a beautiful scenic drive along the Sea to Sky Highway.

there is a lot of construction going on along the Sea To sky highway in preparation for the 2010 olympics in whistler. so, expect delays.

it is really worth it. it is the best mountain!!

You would need to fly into Vancouver International airport because there is no airport around Whistler. It is about a 90 minute drive.

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is the closest airport to Whistler. The other option would be Abbotsford (YYX) or Victoria (YYJ).
