I had some "false"abour on Friday morning-nothing came of it, cervix was still closed. But today I've been having sharp, stabbing pains, almost like the baby is pushing really hard on my bladder, only lasts for a few seconds. I just finished medication for a bladder infection. Could it be the bladder infection hasn't gone away? Going to the doctor tomorrow, but just wanted some opinions for now. I am 8 1/2 months along.

baby drops, more frequent contractions-they set a pattern, lose mucous plug are signs of labor.
When I really got into labor, I couldn't talk through the contractions. Before that they were manageable.

EXTREME PAIN! Restless baby. Contractions becoming increasingly closer. Like going from like every hour to every thirty minutes to 15 minutes...

The baby could have turned and pressing on something. It could be many different things. Your doctor will tell you more tomorrow.

You basically start getting contractions! Your uterus starts to get very tight, and it hurts no matter whether u sit or stand. Trust me...when u can't handle the pain anymore...it's definately time!!
