Legalizing immigrants who are willing to work would help the economy more than going back to slavery. There is some kind of slavery going on today in many industries where companies abuse their employees, demanding more and more from them and cutting their wages ( PIECE WORK ). And taking advantage of immigrants that just came to the country. I know; I've been there and that was done to me! And although I am retired now I do remember that time and really feel for those people!. Most of them get to the point of exhaustion, depression and burn-out, etc.. Does this help the economy? I wonder! This is modern slavery! And it is already legal!

Do you want to be a slave? You want to be treated like someone's property and they can do whatever they want with you? I don't think so. And how would legalizing slaves help the economy?

For a start lets take the street gangs off the streets and put them in chain gangs cleaning up their own graffiti and filth and dammage they cause.
