When i was pregnant with my second child, I actually lost 10 pounds in the first trimester and did not start gaining weight until about the 5th month. They did regular ultrasounds and the baby was fine. I also looked very pregnant, so I like to think he was just draining all the fat from elsewhere. But with my first I gained right away, I think it just depends. But as long as the baby is fine and the docs aren't worried, I would try not to stress about it. Good luck!

I have had 4 babes--and you should have gained some weight--unless you were overweight to start. I gained 60 with my first then 27 with my second than with my 3rd and 4th only 14 lbs. Actually lost weight after I had them--back to 110 lbs. If you are overweight should be okay as calories are going towards your child but if underweight should be gaining--talk to your doc--he would know.

All I can say is Good luck to you (Swear words Swear words :) ;) )
Some girls just don't , and as long as the baby is gaining weight and healthy like it should be, you should count your blessings!!
It's 6 months since my baby was born and I can't get any of the weight to move!
But one of the girls in my antenatal class didn't start to poke out till she was 30 weeks So check with the DR, things should be fine!
Good Luck and Congrats!.

Lucky you! Weight gain is not seen as important in pregnancy, provided you are measuring ok. You have probably lost a little body fat and gained a little weight from the baby and they are balancing out.
Put your scales away and don't worry about it.
