I heard that Darlene Conway died. She is the actress who played Sally Spectra on " Bold & Beautiful ?. Is this true or a rumor ? She's one of my favorite soap stars.

Darlene Conley (July 18, 1934 - January 14th, 2007), raised in Chicago, was an Emmy Award-nominated Irish-American actress, most known for her long-running role as Sally Spectra Alexander Garrison on The Bold and the Beautiful. She was known for her larger figure, jovial personality, and sizable red coiffure.

Wow! I am just finding out through your question that she died! She was 72 and was diagnosed with cancer three months ago and unfortunately has passed. I have been a big fan of the show for years and loved her as Sally. Her along with Stephanie are among my favorite characters on the show. It is like when I heard Benjamin Hendrickson who played Hal on As the World Turns died. She will be missed.
