aluminum or foil

This question is interesting.

As I have so far read, "aluminum" seems to be the most common and most probable solution. Although, if you compare size to weight and think larger, aluminum will be much heavier than such metal substances as titanium or lithium metals. Both give off a reflection as aluminum would.

I've assumed the correct response is either a large body of water such as a lake or an ocean/sea.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I'm absolutely sure that it is not water. Water is an extremely heavy substance. 1meter cubed of water weighs 1 ton so if you think about it, a meter is fairly small anything over that will just be to heavy.

The sky or atmosphere [since it reflects the ocean waters].

Actually, in reality, without knowing the weight of miles of atmosphere and or the black [emptiness?] of the outer space background needed to produce the reflection...my answer is probably stupid.
