Working hard for your fortune definatly allows you to appreciate it more. The children of qua-trillionaires seem shallow, concieted, and superficial. This is because they don't know what it's like to work. Just look at Paris Hilton, she is totally spoiled.
I would love to win the lotto, but I've been working hard most of my life. I don't think it would effect me, or change me.
I know the value of hard work, and children who grow up in very wealthy homes don't. I'm not jealous of anyone who wins the lottery, because it seems long lost friends and distant relatives would be coming out of the woodwork looking for some cash.
Sorry, not trying to offend anyone, just stating the truth.

If I were to win the lottery I would put it in a trust fund for my child until they can prove, to the law firm executing this trust, that he holds a steady job and established himself and is stable.
Oh, by the way, singers and actors and entertainers really do work hard for their money. Most of these people are very well educated as well.

I don't think that they are cursed, but many who have gone from paycheck to paycheck to winning the lottery do not know how to handle it......and before they know it they have made a bunch of very bad decisions and loose it as fast as they got it. I seriously would not change my life a great deal, I would pay off my current bills...still go to work everyday, and invest it safely and always have the comfort of knowing that I have a very good nest egg for my retirement. I would not go public with my good fortune, that just invites trouble.

people who run out of cash after winning the lotto usually have too big of a heart, they see a hard luck case, think, "that could have been be" plus every one who saw them on the news go after them. as for kids who inherit money, what is the difference than if they won it. their parents time on earth ran out before they sent it and now they get it. its sad, but i think that it in some ways it makes the kids lucky, that there parents wanted them to be taken care of. and as for the trust fund kids, the only lives they ruin is there own, and i think the parents are partly to blame because they did not raise them right.

Just inheriting money can ruin people if they aren't taught good work ethic. I have a friend like that. She thinks the world owes her everything.

No, there not cursed, there just financially uneducated. As far as the kids go, they should do as many wealthy Americans do, make them appreciate the money, there are many ways to do that.
