My roommate and I want to go on our PC’s at the same time (On the internet I mean) She has a wireless Laptop, but I don’t. So I know I need to buy a Wireless LAN card to make my laptop wireless, but I have no idea which one to get???

Take your laptop to the local computer store (Office Depot, CompUSA, whatever's near you) nad tell them of your request. They can help you find the exact right network interface card (NIC) for your computer. Also, check the router specs (brand and model) and bring that with you, so you can make sure your NIC is compatable with the router.

Buy the same name brand that your router is. Then you know it will be the right one. I have a linksys router and I bought a linksys wireless card and it runs great..Good Luck..
