An eccentric and wealthy scientist has built a time machine and he has set forth the following simple challenge. Step into his time machine and be transported back into the middle of a jungle in Africa at night in the year 75 million B.C. You will be given a rifle and some rounds. You must remain there for merely thirty minutes and then you may return. You may not be stationary the entire time you are there. Now ofcourse you may not encounter any problems at all while you are there, or you may. It all depends on your luck. Once you are gone you may not return untill the 30 minutes are up under any circumstances. If you agree to the terms when you return to the present day you will be given $100 million dollars by the wealthy inventor . Will you do it?

we dont have the slightest clue of wat it would be like 75 million years ago. Scientific evidence that been used can only produce teories of what it would have been like or wat creatures could have lived. Its all theory no one ever lived to see to tell us no confrimation of anything. I will never risk anything even for 100 million dollars.

Heck yeh, how would he know you were there for 30 minutes, like 75 million years just passed. In fact while you are in the jungle set the time machine ahead 5 years and then return to the future, and tell him you loved the place so much you wanted to stay longer. Or even better set the time machine for 1 minute before you left the first time that way you will make 200 million dollars.

No

What if the time machine malfunctions and leaves me in 75 million BC?

I guess I'd leave a record of how I survived and hoped it is discovered by man in the future.

Hey, there was a book with that exact premise.

No. Might get trampled by a dinosaur. And how can the scientist be absolutely positive that he can bring me back. My luck, the machine would tear up right after I landed!

Of course I would just go climb up a tall tree like they did in Jurassic Park. Besides it's only 30 minutes.

i'm going to do it below 2 situations, if i don't come back the money must be placed into an account for my daughter (reason i'm questioning with my success the gadget will destroy down or a dino will step on it) and yet another, i choose greater rounds incase I come throughout the time of a T Rex.

Yes, I would do it. 30 minutes is not that much, and I've seen Jurassic Park many times so if there's any dinosaurs I know their tricks.

"If I agree to the terms WHEN I RETURN to the present day"? As you put it there, no. I'd have to see the $$$ in my family's bank account before I go, and they get it regardless.
