Before the 1970s the American car was considered the standard for automotion, likewise the American female was popular enough within the country. Since then both have experienced a decline in quality based on paying little attention to quality and value, not needing to compete in an International market.

Now that American cars (and women) must compete in an international market American men flock to Europe and Asia for their cars (and women) simply because they outstrip the American cars (and women) in quality and value.

Asian automobiles are now the standard in automotion and Asian women are becoming the standard for beauty and partnership.

Trade protectionism:

Was abandoned for cars because it has short term benefits but long term consequences, so why are the feminists pushing for foreign female competition to be outlawed:

Is there some reason it will work in this case, or are feminists just desperate?

Because they really don't know what they want...."a woman should have the right to..." unless we don't like it, then she shouldn't?

If someone wants to be "purchased" as a bride and live her life this way, why would the feminists want to strip her of her rights to make her own choices? Aren't they Pro-Choice? Or are they only Pro-our-agenda-choice?

Good points, again.

The US never should have gotten involved in Afghanistan in the first place. It's now the country's longest war and there is no end in sight. The Soviets couldn't successfully take over the country and neither could the British so why do Americans think they can? If the US pulled out, Afghanistan might actually become a more moderate society like it was before the Soviets invaded in 1979. In those days, women could hold jobs and get an education.

Proof on why you think asian women are becoming the standard for beauty and partnership please. thank you

it is not pushing for foreign female competition to be outlawed. It is putting in place some safeguards for these women who may not know their rights in america otherwise. i agree that it might be a little bit ridiculous and that statistics might show that they are no worse off than other women so i really dont agree with them having to provide police records etc. but the pamphlets and info given to these mail order brides can only be a good thing. it really has nothing to do with trade protectionism and i dont really understand where you draw that analogy from sorry.
