Please somebody explain this to me. I'm Practically Freezing my *** off in this Extremely dry and Cold Weather.

The jet stream is really goofy right now. It's scooping up the cold air from Canada and pushing it into California. Take a look:

The arrows show which direction the jet stream wind is moving. The jet stream is wind that's miles high in the atmosphere. It pulls weather systems and storms along with it; meteorologists use jet stream data to predict which way a storm is heading.

i dont understand this weather at all.where I live we always have real cold weather but this year it has not been to bad. I think that it has something to do with global warming.

Global warming. It hasn't snowed in NY this year, but it's snowing in Texas right now. Idaho is warm, Southern Cali is cold. It's all getting messed up.

I can tell you right now, It was a huge mistake moving to the beach!!! I should have stayed inland!! who knew it would get sssooooo cold in sunny California?? (I don't have the clothes for this!!!)
