Meaning of when they are coming of age? I've heard the expression alot. Is it really true that when they hit puberty, they only have dirty thought on their mind? Im just curious. If so, is there a reason why this is?

I ask because I noticed my husband's nephews acting differently around girls as they get older. Then that expression comes to mind and makes me wonder.

Young men think about many different things. Sports and sex, eating and sex, drinking and sex, walking and sex, shopping and sex, sleeping and sex etc. I don't agree that they are "dirty" thoughts but certainly sex is never far from the mind.
It is actually very normal and does not turn people into sex maniacs or even make them do anything different from normal. The sudden awareness of sex makes it a major fantasy topic until it becomes a reality. This may be several years but since it has always been that way it is at least normal if not necessarily healthy.

It's true and I even add that isn't concerning young men only, but every men at any age!
Strangely men's mind is so made and every time we know or meet a girl, our mind automatically think about her body and sex.
Then, when a woman is sexy and provocative our mind even will be thinking about the possible act right off.

well they do supposidly thing abotu sex every 6 seconds. but they do have normal thougth like what theyll do tomorrow and how work and school will go.. but i guess it is more of a "proiority" with all those raging hormones.

no... im going through puberty and its not all i think about...i do think about it and joke aroud with my friends about it though....but its not constant...usualy not thinking dirty thoughts
