Shortly after 9/11 I watched one of those news programs on television, and it discussed all these sophisticated ways America had of stopping terrorism by esp. economic means, the computer, the Internet, and banking. Cutting off funding to terrorists was apparently the new and effective way to stop terrorism. War was passe! What happened to that? It sounded effective and hopefully they are doing that or will start doing that???
I would also like to see them tighten the borders and shipping containers, which I've heard they are not very stringent on (something like 10 or 15% only are checked?). I'd like to see nuclear facilities security tightened as well. And I'm probably the only one that feels this way, but I still think Bin Laden should get caught and punished for being the actual terrorist behind 9/11. That's how I feel about terrorism, and where I would like to see our funding spent...

Terrorism in America?? The only terrorists we have in this country are occupying the whitehouse. George Bush is responsible for more death that Saddam or (George's former business associate) Osama bin Laden.
We need to restore democracy to our great nation and rid ourselves of the fanatics on the fringes of both parties.
We Americans are allowing our opinions to be influence by a few radical fanatic radio/talk show hosts and a corporate media concern. The sooner we rid ourselves of radical fanatics and start listening to the (yup, I'm going to say it) Silent Majority, the sooner we will restore rational thought to our land.

Being ready & able to protect yourself is good, but your rifle will be useless if someone flies an airplane through your office window. Unless you carry a gun with you, it won't likely do you any good. If you really want to be ready to protect yourself & your family from likely threats, learn a Martial Art.

Hey I live in Sf and when they passed a law aganst guns they actually sent me a notice of where to turn my guns in at .
BTW The law was overturned thanks to the NRA
