When I was pregnant with my son I didn't start showing until I was 4 months along. I'm only 9 weeks now and I already had to buy prego clothes. It not because i'm eating. I'm so sick I can hardly keep anything down. Could this mean twins?

Sounds like you have a little water retention.
Hormones causing you to be sick and your body is fighting the water loss.
Congrats on the baby, I bet your son will love having a sister or brother.

Do twins run on your or your significnat others side of the family? If so then it's possible. I was a little over 2 months prego with twins, had no idea i was prego until i was miscarrying. I just thought my stomach was bloated all the time, but my stomach popped out pretty early. Then when i got prego again with my son i didn't start to show until 3 mo where i didn't start to show with my first until around 4 mo, so it's possible. They'll tell you when they do a ultrasound. good luck.

you know what i went through the same thing i am currently 4 months pregnant and i dont have a belly at all!!! my sister in law has the exact amount of time that i have and u can already see hers. it doesnt mean that ur having twins i mean it could be a possibility but dont stress it. When i was about a month i was so sick!!! i couldnt keep anything in my mouth cuz it throw it right out it got to the point that i couldnt even keep a drop of water in my mouth, can u believe i would even throw up liquids!!! it was bad. my family would scare me tellin me that maybe i was having twins cuz of my symptons. And barely about 2 weeks ago i been feeling better!!! but good luck!!!

no you shoudn't be showing at 9 weeks - the uterus doesn't even rise above the pubic bone until 14 weeks --- you're bloated even if you haven't gained any weight - your body is rapidly producing a lot of extra fluid right now and that's likely what the issue is. It will subside in a week or two and then you'll probably show for real about the same time you did with your prvious pregnancy (depending on how long ago that was). With both my full-term pregnancies I didn't show or wear maternity clothes until 7 months (28 weeks)

My sister is pregnant with twins and is 8 weeks along. She has not gained any weight yet. My mom and cousin were also pregnant with twins, and they didnt start showing until 4-5 months.

I had twins and started to show in my 2nd month. Very bad morning sickness.. i mean all day sickness! lol and felt alot of flutters in my 3rd month. I have all boys now.. my friend is over her due date and said she showed early with this baby which is a girl and her boys she neevr showed till her 5-6 month..

Maybe...But I do know that with 2nd 3rd etc. pregnancies you show earlier because the muscles are not as strong... My mother in-law had to go to her first appointment for her second in maternity clothes (about 13 weeks)! But maybe it is twins, do they run in the female side of your family?

i'm 9 weeks and 3 days pregnant, and that i'm exhibiting already. yet, i'm having twins!! It relies upon on the lady, and her physique type if she shows early. do not hardship approximately it. Love your pregnant physique, i won't be able to attend until finally my tummy gets a sprint better.

Could be twins, make a dr. apt and voice your concerns. They will be able to decide whether or not an ultrasound is needed to determine how many, if you haven't had an ultrasound yet you may be further along then you think.

you will almost always show sooner with the second baby, i wouldn't be concerned with the chance of twins but your Dr. will let you know when you go for check-ups. He/she can listen for 2 heart beats.
