what is it called when you can take a photo of yourself and of your spouse and put it together to see what your baby will look like

I dont know that it has a name, but if I had to give it one, I would call it "lame". There are so many upredictable genetic traits that humans possess, and to try to predict what a couple's child would look like based on the characteristics of pictures of 2 people, then there are going to be some very unhappy, or happy people out there.

you can morph two photos together to get one image but that is not even close to combining two gene pools.
Suppose you could pose this as a semantics question?
