The devil I don't. Been down that path a million times with the one I know and it's really tired. I'm all about something new, since you never know how it might wind up!

The devil I already know because I would already know what to expect. If I went with the devil I don't know, I'd have to deal with breaking in a new devil I'm not sure I could handle. Or something like that.,,..lol...I think the sleeping pill has kicked in now, so this may make no sense whatsoever!

I perceive this to mean that you know the wrong of the familiar but could never guess what the unknown can and is capable of- you understand!

whts the diff? its still the devil... but on 2nd thought, the devil i know -i already know i dont have the ability to overcome him, while the devil i dont know, maybe i have the god-given strength to defeat it...so...
