Here in the UK, I get paid minimum wage (£5.35) which is subject to tax, National Insurance etc etc, but I also get £1 per delivery (£1.25 once I've been there 6 months) and any tips I make, which is tax free, cash in hand.

So, for example, if I work a 6 hour shift, do 9 deliveries and make £3 in tips, I've earned an extra £2 per hour.

I wish the UK had the same attitude to tipping as the USA :(

It mostly depends on the location and the company. One place I lived, Pizza Place 1 was paying 12 starting out, plus tips, and Pizza Place 2 was 10.50 starting out plus tips.

Depends. Here in CA where I live it's $12.50, but I have a friend in MN who got $15 an hour plus get to keep his tips. Paid off credit cards that way as a second job.

Generally they get paid around 6.50 an hour plus tips. Tips can vary depending on what shifts you work. Busier shifts = more money. It's not a great job. It's a job where you'll always be just okay financially and never really have much money.

I deliver pizza. In these lean times, every customer is a valuable addition to my job security. As long as you order and pay, I don't really care how you pay. But don't forget to tip, even if it's not much. Half of what I make comes from tips. I need my tips. I don't mind if it's in change. Change is money.

Where we live they only get 5.15 plus money for tips and miles. So with everything it could avg around 18. Depends on how busy and if people tip well.
