I have to agree with you.. it is not funny and certainly not a joke to talk about the president or anyone being shot. It is just stupid.
Having said that, I have to admit I do not like our president in any way.. but I would never, ever wish him to be shot or hurt in any way...

And I would have said the same thing 8 years ago. I would say it for any president. To threaten the life of any president, no matter how good or bad a president is treason.

I always shake my head at those people. I think quite a few of them are sincere...pretty sad.
What really gets me is how many of them complain about Bush and call him a dictator, yet they apparently don't realize that a true dictator would have them killed for speaking out against the government.
