Let's see, I am 39 and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
I am currently on my second career so remember that just because you start in one field doesn't mean you have to stay there for the rest of your life. I spent 9 years in the military and have been a contractor for 8. I am actually thinking about going into teaching or psych child development in the near future.
The most important thing: Never stop learning and never stop searching for the perfect fit.

Just kidding, but that would be cool....
I am currently studying to become a Draftsperson. I really love it! Two years ago my sister suggested it as a career and it didn't appeal to me at all. But now that I've started the course- I love it and I'm so happy I chose to pursue it.
I love the designing aspect of the job- I'm a creative person. I also love to work with computers because I'm good at it (figures!).
The best part about it is that I get to SEE my designs applied practically. From the floor plan design to the elevation design- it's all good for me! Plus I get to see the end result of all my hard work.
No admin job I had in the past could deliver that satisfaction.

I'm 22 and am right now finishing my bachelors degree in Nutrition. However, I am going to use this to do what I really want to do. That is to go on and continue my education and get a masters degree and hopefully eventually even a Ph.D. in molecular nutrition. This will allow me to go into research. This is where my heart and passion is. I want to research heart disease (which I was born with) and cancer (which my mom has had twice). Several things made me realize what I wanted to do with my life. First, I prayed about it and truly feel called to be a research scientist to help people with diseases. Second, the years of earning my bachelors degree really showed me what I wanted to be. Third, I would love to find treatments and research treatments about the diseases that my mom have had and that I still have and will always have. You can search yourself of what your true interests are. Find something that fascinates you (like medicine and research fascinates me) and you will love that job more than likely. Hope I helped :)
