not sure, but I've often wondered that myself....as for "just_ine_" who ever said that we cannot ask questions that do not for once involve sex, relationships, issues, or other drama....this person just wants a question answered...and he/she prefers the gay community....

I have actually pondered this before, and the answer these days, I believe is yes. They have exhumed bodies after 30 years or so in the interest of solving a cold case with the flesh intact. So I don't think recognition after one year is too far a leap. Good question!

Depends on the climatic conditions. In Green Land and Siberia, yes recognizable but African countries and South Asian countries it would be decomposed beyond recognition.

Yes. The person doesn't change at all for 20 years due to embalming.

That completely depends on how the body was prepared. Why are you asking this kind of question in the GLBT forum?

if the person was burried in antarctica, the body would likely stay frozen and still be in tact..
otherwise, decomposition would likely occure and yes, they'd be unrecognizable..

If it was year I doubt the body would be that decomposed thanks to modern day embalming.
