Maybe, where do you live? Is the grass green and growing...dried and brown? If green you need to make sure it has 1 inch a week but not if you live where there is alternating warm and cold...frozen water on the grass will cause more harm than letting get a little dry... your grass is probably well adapted for your area and it will go dormant in cold areas and need little watering until spring and consistently warm temps.

Not unless you live in a hot climate. If you are freezing it out with the rest of us then just leave the lawn alone until spring.

no, if its cold / frost in the morning most all vegetaion is dormant or dead. plus it would look kinda weird waterin your lawn when its snowing outside....
