Blue - a principle is not an accomplishment. Principles are reinforced by accomplishments and are eroded by failures. I challenge you to be a realist and tell us one good concrete thing that has come from this war.

I can only see what he is done, 3000 lives lost, 120 billion a year to fiance this war and counting, he is literally bankrupting your country. Your childrens children will be paying for this war in their taxes. And your us dollar is going down down and down pretty soon it won't be worth anything. You can't keep printing money and can't expect it to keep its value. Bush doesn't seem to care about what the people want. He is going to stick to his own personal agenda and guess what, its going to be at your expense. Only time will change what is happening in your country.

we are the loose worlds protector. some like Darfur we are able to not flow with the aid of the indisputable fact that's China's gas station. China might want to be somewhat disillusioned if human beings were operating throughout their oil fields. Tibet back China and the mission even getting there. Kosovo Europe would not safeguard it so we had to rigidity the mission. Iraq were shooting at our planes for 10 yrs. shooting down 2 helicopters and killing 17 infantrymen. Time to end them off and make it a loose democracy because shall we. freed 26 million. Myanmar, back how do you even get there and then strive against a jungle warfare. us of a has freed a million billion human beings over the perfect 60 years and maintains to guard them.

Stopped Iraq from being used to train terrorists, and thwarted his WMD propgam. Saddam DID have WMD's whether people like you want to face it or not! The terrorism that exists there now is a result of jihadists barging in to use it for their own agendas.

Took the heat of Osama Bin Laden didnt it he got away with murder.I still can not understand how a counrty as powerful as USA could just allow their citizens(9/11) to have no justice and yes there may not have been any more attacks on American soil but that doesnt mean there is no loss of lives just ask the young soldiers in Iraq.

Ms Blue Steel, you are an example of why women should not have been given the vote. Give us some examples to back up your ponderous platitudes. No platitudes is not an animal found only in Australia.

The Iraq war has established many important precedents in military, diplomatic, and economic areas that are necessary for the defense of freedom, liberty, and western civilization.
If those principles are of no value to you, then the war has accomplished nothing but death and destruction.
If those principles are important to you, then it has accomplished much but indeed at a high and terrible cost. The Tree of Liberty at times must be replentished with the blood of Patriots and Tyrants.
God Bless America and our brave men and women in uniform.

1. Successfully executed two wars in the aftermath of 9/11/01: Afghanistan and Iraq. 50 million people who had lived under tyrannical regimes now live in freedom.
2. Saddam Hussein is now in prison. His two murderous sons are dead. All but a handful of the regime's senior members were killed or captured.
3. Leader by leader and member by member, al Maida is being hunted down in dozens of countries around the world. Of the senior al Qaeda leaders, operational managers, and key facilitators the U.S. Government has been tracking, nearly two-thirds have been taken into custody or killed. The detentions or deaths of senior al Qaeda leaders, including Khalid Shaykh Muhammad, the mastermind of 9/11, and Muhammad Atef, Osama bin Laden's second-in-command until his death in late 2001, have been important in the War on Terror.
4. Disarmed Libya of its chemical, nuclear and biological WMD's without bribes or bloodshed.
5. Continues to execute the War On Terror, getting worldwide cooperation to track funds/terrorists. Has cut off much of the terrorists' funding, and captured or killed many key leaders of the al Qaeda network.
6. Initiated a comprehensive review of our military, which was completed just prior to 9/11/01, and which accurately reported that ASYMMETRICAL WARFARE capabilities were critical in the 21st Century.
7. Killed the old US/Soviet Union ABM Treaty that was preventing the U.S. from deploying our ABM defenses.
8. Has been one of the strongest, if not THE strongest friend Israel has ever hand in the U.S. presidency.
9. Part of the coalition for an Israeli/Palestinian "Roadmap to Peace," along with Great Britain, Russia and the EU.
10. Pushed through THREE raises for our military. Increased military pay by more than $1 billion a year.
11. Signed the LARGEST nuclear arms reduction in world history with Russia.
12. Started withdrawing our troops from Bosnia, and has announced withdrawal of our troops from Germany and the Korean DMZ.
13. Prohibited putting U.S. troops under U.N. command.
14. Paid back UN dues only in return for reforms and reduction of U.S. share of the costs.
15. Earmarked at least 20 percent of the Defense procurement budget for next-generation weaponry.
16. Increased defense research and development spending by at least $20 billion from fiscal 2002 to 2006.
17. Ordered a comprehensive review of military weapons and strategy.
