There are 2 forces fighting to win your soul. You have free will to choose which voices will influence you. Every moment you have another chance to decide which direction you are aiming your soul. Eternity. It's an important decision. If one toe is in the devil's camp, the person is still in the devil's camp. I choose to listen to God's will, and to study how to be more like Jesus and Mary, and am very happy with my decision, and I've noticed that whenever I'm with others that have made that decision I usually have more fun, and am happier. The spirit world is very real, and active. There is a real WAR going on here. Love, faith, joy, suffering, humility, & goodness are actually your strongest weapons. Spend your time growing in your capacity to love, gaining a higher place near the one who loves you. Some have the capacity to love that is the size of a pea, or a thimble, and others have the capacity of a bucket, or a dump truck. The Holy Spirit will guide whoever asks for help. Who do you desire to be near?

Does it scare you that God, who is like mother and father, gives us free will and at the same time has a spirit guiding us to the path we are supposed to follow?

God helps us stay on our path. We as children don't always listen and want what we think is best for us, but like children we grow up and realize that God really does have the best in mind for us.

We do. Without freewill we don't learn from our mistakes and become better people. We would just be automatons without it. Choices affect everything in our lives big or small. What we can't change is the consequence's that result from the decisions. These consequence's teach us.

no one controls us. personally i believe in making your own choices. and how you are, personality etc, affects the way you turn out. if you are mean, then you turn out mean. i think that you get the idea. i know that someone created us, God. He is there for us, but he doesnt control us. no one does. we make our own choices, decisions and make up our own life. everything is affected by how you turn out and what you decide to do. no one is forcing anyone to do anything. they might try to influence you to do something, but eventually everything is in your hands.
