People in this day and age should earn a decent wage for their honest work. An increase in the minimum wage has been overdue for a very long time. The Republican Congress took their yearly increases, pensions and health care at the taxpayers expense.

I would have to read the facts on that issue, so far people are like you, with the same posting.....so until I see the facts why judge someone.....just like this stuff going on with Iraq, but there is a lot of variables in this war, so a person has to crunch the numbers, or digest all the info, and come up with an answer

The minimum wage exemption for the Star Kist canneries on the Marianas Islands was created by your pals, Republican felons Jack Abramoff and Tom DeLay over 10 years ago.

I have no idea. Even though she's a distant relative of my best friend, I really do not like her. Personally, I have to agree with the comic I saw...
it had a picture of her with a miss america sash, flowers, and she was waving and crying. her husband was laying next to her [they were in bed] and said 'calm down nancy'..or something along those lines.

I think I heard about this.. Isn't it because it is on an island or something that is not considered part of the U.S..? Like just a territory that we own? Something like that anyways.. Not too sure..
