Is it unhealthy to be spraying disinfectant all the time when you clearly know that a person in your house is going to the bathroom and not washing their hands. What are other things I can do to prevent getting dealthy ill,( I spray, I bleach,I clean) this really disgusts me and I feel like im going insane and need to put a sign above the toilet saying wash your damn hands you filthy pig.

Put up a sign! Print out 10 reasons why cleanliness is good and what harm comes from bacteria in the bathroom and put it on the fridge... it should get the point across -otherwise- move out!

Mmm seriously gross when people don't wash their hands after being to the toilet. Or before preparing a meal.

I would put up a sign saying;
"For the health and safety of all persons in this house, PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS"

If this fails then confront the offending person, and say while in my house you must wash your hands, after being to the toilet and before meals.

My house my rules, you don't comply you don't come visit!

Have father who resists having a shower, has to hunted into the bathroom. He would not wash his hands until I confronted him, and would make him wash his hands after having being to the toilet and before a meal.

While I have not quite solved the shower problem, I have the hands thank goodness.

Good luck

Get a "Wash Your Hands Before Returning to Work" sign from a McDonalds and post it. I'm sure they'd sell you one. Hospital bathroom signs might even be better. You could pick up a couple biohazard signs while you're at it.

Put up your sign! Some folks don't get the hint until their slapped in the face with it. Also,I wouldn't use so much disinfectant.You need some germs to kill off the bad ones and keep you from getting sick.This is true,so watch those sprays! Good luck,Bye

Give this person a choice, either wash your hands or wear gloves around the house. Good grief, how much time does it take to wash your hands?

I had a similar problem once...i pretended that i ran out of soap and when they came out of the bathroom i met them at the door with the little squirt bottle of soap and made some comment about "sorry about that, i think i just ran out of soap. i wouldn't want you to not be able to wash your hands--that would be gross. here you go"
Let me know how it goes, honestly as i get older i care less about offending people. at this stage in my life i'd probably just make a comment like "i know you didn't just walk out of there without at least running the water to make it SOUND like you washed your nasty hands" ??
