definitely yes. because with your culture the children are going to learn different things and with experience they'll learn how if they touch fire, they get burn so now they have the experience. you learn with your mistakes.

if you look at your own life, im sure you'll find the answer to your question because you had to go through it too...

... most definitely. Erickson has life stages that he bases on social interactions. He named his life-cycle "The Psychosocial Stages," as opposed to Freud's psychosexual stages. I personally agree with his thoughts. We learn who we are in relationship, and we can't make it through the next stage without growth through the one we're in. Can we regress - yes.

I recommend that you do a search on Erickson's Psychosocial Stages - he will do a much better job than I ever could.
