First I thought we were a democracy but I was wrong. When a president says that no matter what congress says he will not change his decisions then it starts sounding very dictatorship like to me. I thought we all had a voice and the president was our spokesperson but clearly this is not the way. When the president acts on his own opinion and mind then obviously our voices don't mean squat. He is a respresentative of the people that means that he needs to consider what the people want not dismiss it. Isn't that why we got rid of Saadam? We have clearly forgotten that the President;s position is the person who is speaking for our country and that comes from our votes, our state representatives who represent our opinions. Dictatorship is clearly what describes our governnment Democracy no longer exists. So if you want a dictatorship then I guess Cheney would be the right man to run our country.

His career is over in 08. He is retiring. But if he did run, would I? NO. Why? Because I would hear the name Haliburton every day instead of every two weeks as a definition of corruption and profiteering and government cronyism... The Media is determined to debunk "The Man" and send him packing whatever form he takes...and as far as Dick Cheney is concerned...well, just wait. In the next 7 months they will move to impeach Cheney. I can already see the headlines of August this year... "Cheney - Impeached?" - Washington Post. "Pelosi Cleans the White House?" - LA Times. "Justice at Last - CheneyGate" - NY Times.

No...I couldn't take another 4 years of Media digging frenzy in which supposition is enough to impose guilt. The Republicans are finished...their train has split and derailed and is churning up dust in two break away units about to tip and start rolling down opposite embankments. The NeoConservatives led by Bush make up 70% of the Republicans...and they are nothing but veiled Communists, making excuses for being successful while they try to keep their elite status protected... Then you have the other 30% are Conservatives...Capitalists...Libertarians...and Christian Righty freaks - these are now the homeless of the world...the men of skewed reason and single issue hangups. And with such a close turnout on election day, is it any wonder that the vote is swayed by less than 10% when 30% of the Republicans are aimless and scattered and alone?

Now the Democrats are nothing but Fascists, reasy to Nationalize Healthcare and leaving the borders open to guarantee the fall of privatized hospitalization...but they work well with Communists. The Entire skew of our political arena has taken a drastically leftward downward spiral...

What we are left with is 50% of the country fascistic (National Socialist - Democrat)...35% communistic (Compassionate Conservatism/NeoCon/guiilt ridden capitalist seeking moral sanction)...and 15% paying attention and squabbling amongst themselves.

Good question. The Media has already decided that Hillary Clinton will be President and Barack Obama will be Vice President. The Sad thing is that Newt Gingrich will not defeat McCain in all probability because of the stats I have just laid before you...he is outnumbered 2 to 1...

The only chance we have is Newt. If he doesn't take the White House...get ready for armed conflict within our borders...and don't fantacize about the impossibility of a heart problem plagued Cheney and VP Condee Rice running...it won't happen.

Richard Cheney is the one that gives President Bush all the advices on what to do. He's probably the one that adviced Bush to bring all the troops to Iraq and make up an excuse that we're finding some make-believe weapon of mass destruction. He's basically also the one that makes up all these things everyone disagrees on today. After all he has almost as much power as Bush. Why doesn't he disagree with the things Bush does? Obviously he thinks it's correct. For that reason, I don't think Cheney would make a good U.S. President whatsoever.

No, he has only ever wanted to be VP, he has the record for holding the VP position the most, someone who does not see themselves as a leader should not be a leader.

So, no I do not think he would make a good president.

i'd say we will see an arrest warrant for Dick Cheney a similar day that one and all the dirty hippies come to a call to take a bath, get a job and delivers up complaining of crap that quite has no relevance to a lot of a few thing. on the different hand Nigerians are universal for his or her honesty.

Thank God he's too old and his health isn't all that good. Plus, he's already been president for 6 years, how many more years do you think he can hold out? Can't think of a worse candidate - but it would assure a Democratic victory.

As G. Bush is inept, Dick Cheney is his top adviser to the extent that he is running the country. He has to compassion or knowledge of life for the average person as is proven by the state our country is now in.

I don't think so, not even a good Pres. The Pres should surround himself with top advisors and listen to them. Cheney seems too self reliant, to me and the VP office is sometimes where the party pusts mavericks to neutralize them. I don't think the party could endorse him.
