The guy's popularity won't do justice for his abilities. He's the main man of Lyon. Whether making a cutting pass, a free-kick, a penalty, a long-pass or just sprinting forward inside the penalty area and scoring. He can do all of those! The guy is just superb!!!Without him it would be quite impossible to think if Lyon would ever achieve its championship streak in the Ligue1. And it would be a mystery if they can beat Real Madrid in Champions League matches which they did twice because of his amazing vision of the pitch.

Haha, Cannavaro is certainly anything BUT underrated. Shaka Hislop, the GK for Trinidad and Tobago, is the most underrated footballer of all time.

Personally I don't hear enough about Lionel Messe and Djibril Cisse. Both great players overshadowed by having even better players on their national teams. Also I feel Ronaldo is over criticized.

there are quite a few guys who play well but yet you hear nothing of them, or nothing that they deserve. You might consider miroslav klose, willy sagnol, owen hargreaves, and peter crouch among them. There are tons more, but i don't have time to write all of them because i am actually supposed to be doing my schoolwork! shhh ;)
