I have a mixture of carpeting and tile. Kitchen, bathroom, laundry rooms are all tile rest of the house is carpet. And yes I do wear socks in the house. I wear those socks with the stuff on the bottom that keeps you from sliding on the tile.

Yes I wear socks. Most of my home is carpeted, except the entryway which is tiled and the kitchen and bathrooms.

Nope, my rooms on carpet. Outside would be tile flooring for kitchen, and I wear my little basketball slippers. =]
