Ok. Back in 2000-2001 I was sorta dating this guy who I think was cheating on me. Anyway, I met my husband in '02 and he's met this guy once or twice and he's ok with me talking to him. Haven't heard from him for a while. He called tonight to find out if I had a particular song that he was looking for by a band who I've seen in concert several times, and we chatted for a while, my 12 year old took the phone from me because she wanted to talk to him too, but I always feel guiltly after talking to him. Why is this?

Perhaps there are impure thoughts you have about this man, and you feel guilty because you are married. If so, this is normal, and you just remember the love you have for your husband, and not worry so much about the other guy.

I don't think you feel guilty because you've done something wrong. It's not like you are hiding the fact that you talk to this 'friend'. You may feel guilty simply for your husbands sake; maybe you think that you should feel guilty for talking to another man - even though the relationship is platonic.

If u feel guilty it's for a reason. when we do something and feel that concious calling, it's true-guilty as charged. i think it would help u sort things out if u actually said this to your husband, maybe u wouldn't feel like your doing anything bad if he knew how it makes u feel. you would be sharing with the man that's in your life now, he's your husband-LOVE him girl!

It's probably natural to feel that way. Maybe you wonder if it's really appropriate to chatting with this guy, or you wonder what is intentions are really. It wouldn't be such a big deal to blow the guy off would it? Maybe he cheated on you? Maybe he doesn't deserve your time, especially considering the way talking to him makes you feel. Cut him loose...no apologies.

Could you be feeling guilty cause of feelings you have or think you have for this other guy? Could it be cause you still care for him and it seems wrong to cause your married. You should think about it and ifs theres no feelings then dont worry about and enjoy your friendship with him.
