The cigarette lighter plug in my friend's 2001 C320 seems to be smaller than other cars.

I have a Mercedes 300e. I haven't compared the lighter plug to other vehicles but I have used a standard AC/DC converter in the lighter, and it fits perfectly, so it must be standard size. I've also plugged in my cell phone for charging and it fits the lighter perfectly. But that doesn't mean all years and models are the same...

i own a repair shop,and actually it is a little smaller than most,,all of the foreign made ones are,,but if you,ll notice they last a lot longer also,,don't know the reason for this,,but they will out last most of the others,,good luck i hope this help,s.

many german cars have different cig lighter widths compared to japanese or american cars. if you are using it for a cell phone adaptor or something, you might need to get a plastic adapter to make it work

My 560 sel and 450 sl are standard size but they are old school .
