Don't ever give up on your dad, even if his wife does not like u or your siblings I know for a fact that he will get back to you sometime in the not too far future. I'm a father of two boy and girl and believe me there is nothing I want more than to some day get to hold my grand kids on my arms. Keep up the good faith and soon you will get your answer.

I know how you must feeling well not really but a little cause my mum and dad have just spilt up really receantly. If I was you I would let him go. In the long your the one who keeps getting hurt. He knows where you are and if he wanted to be in your life he would be. Let go of all hurt and Enjoy the life with your family. Lifes too short!!!!

Contact the Dr. Phil show on NBC and request that he schedule an intervention for your family. He does this kind of thing all the time, and puts people back together if possible. At any rate, he could help you find closure, which you need. Best wishes.

Let him go and go get counseling. We can't make someone love us or want to spend time with us. Allowing him the control and power to hurt you is a waste of time and energy. Enjoy your boys and teach them what a father/grandfather is suppose to be so they grow up to be good at it. You don't have to put your dad down when teaching them just show them and teach them what a "good" dad is.

Don't give up. Eventually he will wise up and call you back. Family is too important to just let go of.
