Crude oil is an unrefined fossil product taken out from the sea beds. It is fractionally distilled to get petrol, diesel, spirit, tar etc.

The crude oil is mined from the underground and not prepared. It is processed into different grades of fuel by chemical processing in refineries. other non fuel products are also made from the crude oil.

Crude Oil comes straight from the ground; the way it is before any refining.

That's oil as it comes from the ground and before it is refined. The number of commercially viable products it can be made into increases almost daily, from medicines to textiles to building materials to paving materials to automobile tires to cosmetics and coffins. Wild, isn't it?
