No I'm not pregnant because I havent had sex since June. My doc gave me a pill to take but it made me sick, however it did cause my period to come and the last month I got it was in November. Now it's disappeared again, does anyone know what could be wrong? I'm 26 by the way.. and not having sex.. I'm starting to wonder if it's a hormone imbalance?

A while back I lost my period for four months. I didn't know why (there was no logical explanation & I knew I wasn't pregnant). The only thing I could think of was that I'd been eating less than usual in the months before it went away (though i wasn't severley restricting calories or anything). Anyways, it came back after four months and everything was normal. My advice - don't worry. If you are concerned go see your doctor, but it is likely it will eventually come back on its own.

i would say talk to your gyno but if you dont want to than think are... ar their any changes in medications or your diet... maybe you are just fertile a few times a year ( a friend of mine gets hers ever 4 months not every month) Consulting a doctor would be the safest route to take though...
