Lee Kuan Yew was one of the greatest leaders of the twentieth century, he created a economically successfull Singapore with a
high level of social cohesion. He is one of the few political leaders
who I consider to be of the highest standard of intelligence and integrity. I never tire of hearing his views and insights. I have been to Singapore and I was impressed, I hope to visit again.

Talking about founding fathers of Singapore is like discussing Sparta historical value compared to Athens. Like the rise and early falls of ancient kingdoms before that - Malaccan sultanate, Majapahit, Srivijaya, Singapore will be famous only for its cultural desert and strange practices which make for good laughs. Check google on Singapore, minus local state propaganda, see what you get :)
