F=9/5(C)+32

2007-01-15 15:28:34 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

Celsius to fahrenheit:

F = (9/5)*C + 32

Fahrenheit to Celsius

C = (5/9) * ( F - 32 )

wherein F = the temp in fahrenheit
and C = the temp in celsius

If you want an approximate that works generally well for usual weather reports, double the temp in C and add 30.
Works to within a degree or two of the calculated value in a typical temperature range.

There is an online converter at

http://www.wbuf.noaa.gov/tempfc.htm

or do it yourselft:

def F = 9x(def C)/5 + 32

(f-32)/180 = c/100

Eg: 10C into F:

(f-32)/180 = 10/100
=> f-32 = 180*0.1
=> f = 32+18
=>f = 50

thus 10C is 50F
