I have been looking at pictures from the golden globes.
It seems like even Jennifer Lopez has joined the stick with a head club. Most of the women looked terrible. Is there anything wrong with be a normal size. Like a 6 maybe? These ladies look terrible and are terrible role models for young girls and women everywhere.

I agree with what your saying, but according to various fashion reports the "it's hip to be thin" trend will eventually fade and a more voluptuous look will emerge. I am sure a lot of these women struggle to look a certain size because the camera isn't so forgiving when it comes to adding excess pounds, but I too wish the era would return where shapes like Marilyn Monroe were the standard. Now THAT is Hollywood :)

I'm still waiting to see when the stick thin look will go to the wayside and then there will be an influx of heavier actresses for awhile, helping to balance out the industry a bit. I agree, it's way out of control...to me it's not even attractive when these girls are over 5'6" and weight less than 100lbs. That's sick and they need to be in the hospital getting better. But, perhaps the modelling world with it's changing times of using the BMI structure for bigger girls will help Hollywood go in the same direction. Or, at least I hope.

Hollywood is officially dead. These celebs are only doing what "they" want and could care less what fans do. Think about all these female actresses getting super skinny to fit in. Then you have girls who look up to them and try to copy what their famous star is doing. When their is a problem, that eating disorders are present, don't you find it rather ironic how that same skinny celeb tries to go against it after she did it herself. Come on, don't be a hyprocrite. Celebs don't care about anything except our money and how to stay at the top so they will never have to be back where they came from.
Think about, do you see any celeb living as a regular person, I think not.

i totally agree. Why should ppl have to b a size 0 to b considered pretty and good looking. What is wrong with ppl today? look what ppl are looking up too, and how many of them have had DUI's or have been labeled anarexic?
