If Rice does this stupendous feat, will she be in line for the Republican nomination?

I would say that she will be in line to replace David Copperfield in making a 747 on the runway disappear. They talk about this and they talk about this but if the Palestinians do one thing to piss off the Israelis then we are back to not talking about this for another 6 months then the cycle just repeats itself. It is Israel's way of trying to prolong the fact that these guys are out to end their existence in the world. So my guess is that it will never happen so all she will get out of it was the fact that she tried to make it happen. By the time they start to talk about it again after they don't talk about it for 6 months then Bush will be out of office and so she will be out of a job.

If Ms. Rice achieve partly success, it will still be great achievement. Her approach is very realistic in the present circumstances. Ground realities can hardly be ignored and no immediate solution is visible. However, if she is able to develop complete understanding between Palestinian and Israel solution of issue according to President Bush road map will be possible and both the nations will be close friend working for the welfare of their people.
