Yes I do think women should do the cooking and cleaning. On another note though , they should also be staying at home taking care of the house and the kids, not trying to juggle all that plus work a 50 hr work week like so many women I see. Men should be able to provide for there family financially and women should be at home, cooking cleaning and taking care of the kids and her husband. I'm sure I just pissed alot of feminist off but oh well I'm old school on husband/wife roles.

If you both work i think it should be a equal thing... But if the woman stays at home then i think it should be her job to do the cooking and cleaning... I do the cooking and cleaning and help take care of my husbands kids when they are here b/c he lived a rough life living with his ex wife b/c he had to work, cook, clean & take care of the kids even though she didn't have a job (lazy). So i try to make his life easier by helping him out and doing things for him...

NO!! Me and my bf share the cooking responsibilities and actually he does most of the cleaning. But he is the perfect man, in my eyes and I love him very much! If a man truly loves you, he will help around the house and not expect the woman to do everything.

Mostly yes.. I think there is a balance in every marraige and its different for everyone. My husband and I rarely eat at home but since hes so picky, he cooks. Cleaning is almost equal, I do a little more than he does. We both work, I work a few more hours a week than he does.. We do ok.

If the husband and the children don't want to help out, then they shouldn't eat. It's really a husband and wife understanding, if the woman chooses to, then so be it. If she tells her husband up front that she would like his help, then he should. If he doesn't cook and clean to her liking and she wants to take over both tasks, I say have at it! I'd rather do the cleaning because I don't like a carpet with lint still on it and my husband swearing that he vaccuumed to the best of his ability.

I think household chores should be divided by mutual agreement. There are some jobs I hate, such as vacuuming, that my husband does, and jobs he hates, like cleaning the bathroom, that I do. We both share in the chores equally and do the ones we like best.

I think that if a woman wants to do those things then more power to her.
If a guy wants to do these things, then more power to him
However if neither wants to do these things, then they should share the role and make it easier on each other. It's a recipe for happiness.

i think the person most capable should do it, if both work it should be an equitable division , if one partner (male or female) stays home, cooking and cleaning is their job.
