Of course not. The French people get the American tech support people with French names who speak broken French!

Did you know that there are about 175 million speakers of French where as about 500 to 800 million speakers of Hindi (official language of India).
How many times have you actually seen some Indian complaining that he/she spoke to some tech-support who spoke "broken Hindi". I never have.
If at all you have only 2 people to blame, one yourself for NOT knowing a language you must i.e. English and second the company from whom you bought your product, coz it's just trying to save a few bucks by outsourcing it to India (if you are right and they have done that).
Of course I would like to add that only lower hourly rates are not the reason for outsourcing to India, believe me none of the western companies are stupid enough to anger their customers (e.g. like you) by providing services below some technical standards.

Lastly Keith is far from an Indian name.

I suggest that next time if you really want French support, you check that also before buying a product !
