Some people theorise that Lewis Carol was on drugs during his writing of Through The Looking Glass but there is no real basis for it. He did however write about hillusinating during migraine attacks. Plus he's a writer and writers are creative.

He wrote the story based on one he told to a little girl, Alice Liddell. She asked him to tell her a story and he based it on a picnic they had that had been spoiled by rain. Alice asked him to write it down for her and he did. His friends urged him to publish it and the rest is literary history.

i htink that the auther was on mushrooms, and not normal ones he was doin a little too much (SNNNNIIIIIFFFFF) and lil too much (SIIIPPPPP) and way too much (in the rabit's hole)
