I've watched CNN and refuse to take for granted anything they say nowadays.
CNN is a media source that's been bought and it's plain to see. They are biased in their opinion and when they don't get from their reporters what THEY want to hear, they just simply cut them off and go on to another reporter who will do what they ask, I've seen it happen.
Gotta laugh at Clevergirl's response, she doesn't know that one is NOT a terrorist and the other is a terrorist.

The media is a tool of the politcal machine. They brodcast and print what the government wants us to hear.

It probably was a mistake whether you think so or not. If it wasn't, who really cares if two terrorists names are misspelled? Do you think either were offended? Maybe Osama will write a letter about how disgraceful the spelling of the Westerns are and that's proof we should all be killed.
You got a lot of time on your hands there, man. A LOT!

cnn is a poorly run news channel , they air stuff that never should air if you ask me , like the anchor's mic being on in the restroom. i will not watch that network.
